Christian Hip Hop In Zimbabwe

Writing this blog at about half past eleven close to midnight. We are grateful God gave us the strength to host the first Christian Hip Hop Achievement Awards in Zimbabwe on the 19th of December 2014 at Faith Ministries Church in Borrowdale. Well as we were going about planning the awards we had people ask are there artists out there into the sub genre of Hip Hop which is Christian Hip Hop and we explained on Powerfm to Dj Rumbie that yes there is more than 4 artists out here and at that time they reached close to 70 artists. We also had a couple ask what is the point of awards and to be honest the award is not a case of winning it is a way of the artists themselves at the end of the year to actually realise how much progress they made during the year and the achievements they made. Christian Hip Hop Awards now then help you see because it is our job to help you keep track of your progress.

I can say we are pleased to note that every week since the start of 2015 artists are releasing tracks working on projects. Track released early this year were from Kingdom Swag, Courtney, S.L.I.C.K and many more. My boy Brythreesixty just released his new video Hatidzorere tsvimbo. I just had an interview with Dj Samantha on this Sunday morning. The Live Wise Die Ready click will be having a charity concert at Avondale on the 31st of January 2015.

So you can basically see that there is now a major movement going on. Christian Hip Hop Achievement Awards organisation is working all out to ensure that artists will be able to survive of their work and other business opportunities and also we are here to open up doors for job options in the entertainment industry.
